SBC Internet Safety Game- A simple game for
younger students on basic Internet safety. The
premise is a town with a nasty character lurking
about, sending inappropriate e-mail and such.
Students enter eight different buildings and answer a
question on Internet safety. After students have
completed the game, you may download a Certificate
of Award (500 KB) and/or a printable version of
the game (5 MB). This can be done as a group
activity too to keep noise levels down (K-5).
Scholastic-
This site gives you simple ways to integrate technology
with your teaching practices without adding work or
taking up precious time. The Tech Tutor section will
give you great ideas on how to incorporate technology
into your classroom (K-12).

SMART Board in the Classroom-
This site explores ideas for
using interactive whiteboards in the classroom,
adapting existing Notebook projects, and integrating
resources for each subject area. There are numerous
links according to subject area. Most of the links
are interactive and are great to use on a SMART Board
(Pre-K-12).

Webquest
- WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most
or all of the information used by learners is drawn from
the Web. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time
well, to focus on using information rather than looking
for it, and to support learners' thinking at the levels
of analysis, synthesis and evaluation. To navigate on
