for kids created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services. Designed for kids 9-13 years old, BAM! Body and Mind
gives them the information they need to make healthy lifestyle
choices. Some highlights are: a virtual comic creator that allows
students to resolve conflicts and stressful situations; an
exercise personality quiz that results in a custom activity list
for each student; an interactive activity that tests students
bully smarts; a student guide to getting along with others; and
more.

spectacular circus performers at Ringling Bros. and Barnum &
Bailey® are also accomplished athletes who need to
be in top physical condition, making them ideal “real life” role
models who can encourage young people to be active and fit.
Through the CircusFit Program, the Ringling Bros.
acrobats, clowns, high wire and trapeze artists, and many of our
other performer-athletes, help show youth an awe-inspiring and
action-packed approach to health and fitness—motivating them to
get up and move with games and activities that are more play than

Food Detective-Offers
youngsters 20 minutes of lessons on healthy eating and exercise,
and then locks them out and urges them to get moving. Printable
scavenger hunts help children understand food labels,
experiments allow students to calculate sugar in drinks, and
other exercises promote healthy eating.
