Bus transportation is
provided for all Pre-K children.
Parents may also transport their child to the program.
Please make sure that your child arrives on time. If a
child arrives late, he/she may miss breakfast or lunch. Parents may also
arrange for alternative transportation with a
responsible adult. However, these arrangements must be
in writing. The
a.m. Pre-K session as well as the p.m. Pre-K session
follow specific bus routes. Therefore, your child will be
placed in the program that best relates to the
appropriate bus route schedule. Each bus has a bus
monitor who, along with the bus driver, has complete
authority. Each student is assigned a specific seat, which he/she will keep throughout the year. Children may be
randomly videotaped on the bus as part of the school
district's ongoing safety procedures.
