Welcome to
Pre-Kindergarten
Students enrolled in the
Pre-K program in
Middletown
are getting ready for kindergarten, and they're learning a lot
more than their ABCs.
A
primary goal of the program is to provide students with
instruction in language and literacy, math, science, as
well as social and self-care skills. Students get
hands-on instruction through activities in the
classroom, preparing them for the next step in their
schooling—kindergarten!
The grant-funded program serves children from
families that meet income-eligibility guidelines.
Students must turn 4-years of age on or before December 1
to be eligible. Two
sessions of Pre-K are available. Session 1 is held from
8:45-11:15 a.m., and session 2 is held from 12:45-3:15 p.m. Both sessions are held at Mechanicstown
Elementary School. Click on the link for important
Transportation information.
