District budget development underway

Similar to other public schools across New York State, Middletown City School District started its school budget planning for 2008-09 in fall 2007. District administration and directors have been hard at work to compile budgets for instruction, administration and capital components. Take a look at key budget dates listed below (dates are subject to change).

Meet the candidatesSchool Board election nears, vote May 20

MAY 2008—Two, five-year seats on the Middletown Board of Education will be filled this May. On May 7, a Meet the Candidates night was held for district residents to learn more about each candidate running as well as their top issues of candidacy.
