A regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Enlarged City School District of Middletown, New York was held Thursday, September 7, 2006, at the Board of Education Office, 223 Wisner Avenue, Board President Vincent Crescenzo, presiding.
Present: Mrs. Botti (left at 9:20 p.m.), Mr. Geiger (left at 7:50 p.m.), Mrs. Knapp, Mr. Paul, Ms. Perkins, Mr. Perrino, Ms. Tobiassen Mr. Crescenzo – 8.
Absent: Mr. Estrada (arrived at 7:45 p.m.) – 1.

Mr. Crescenzo called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. Mr. Perrino made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Botti, to have an executive session for discussions regarding proposed, pending or current litigation. Motion was unanimously approved.
Public session resumed at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Crescenzo led the pledge to the flag.
Mr. Paul made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Botti, to approve Personnel Memorandum #24.
Ayes: Mrs. Botti, Mr. Estrada, Mrs. Knapp, Mr. Paul, Ms. Perkins, Mr. Perrino, Ms. Tobiassen, Mr. Crescenzo – 8. Noes: None. Absent: Mr. Geiger – 1. Motion was unanimously moved.
Mr. Estrada made a motion, seconded by Mr. Paul, to approve Personnel Memorandum #25.

Be it resolved that the Board of Education hereby abolishes two (2) Principal Account Clerk positions in the Business Office and creates one (1) Senior Account Clerk and one (1) Accountant position effective September 11, 2006; and
Be it further resolved that the Board of Education hereby appoints MaryJane Crescenzo to a provisional appointment as Senior Account Clerk effective September 11, 2006.
