AUDIT COMMITTEE MEETING

March 6, 2007

A meeting of the Audit Committee of the Enlarged City School District of Middletown, New York was held on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at 223 Wisner Avenue, Middletown, New York, at 6:00 p.m.

Attending: Linda Knapp, Chairperson John Perrino Lynne Perkins Susan Botti

Invitee: Elizabeth McKean

We reviewed the Charter. We anticipated meeting with community member, Raquel Martinez, but she was unavailable. Linda spoke with her by phone later in the evening.

Internal Auditor, Ray Preusser, has not yet been into the office since the Comptroller’s representative is presently in our office. Betsy anticipates a start in 2 to 3 weeks.

Those presently trained in the State approved 6 Hour Financial Training Session are: John Perrino, Lynne Perkins, Ed Estrada, Will Geiger, and Roy Paul.

We will meet again after Mr. Preusser comes in to discuss his initial findings.

We adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
