BOARD OF EDUCATION

MIDDLETOWN, NEW YORK

JULY 28, 2005

A special meeting of the Board of Education of the Enlarged City School District of Middletown, New York was held Thursday, July 28, 2005, at the Board of Education, 223 Wisner Avenue, Middletown, New York, Board President Vincent Crescenzo, presiding.

Present: Dr. Best, Mrs. Knapp, Mr. Perrino, Mrs. Botti, Mr. Crescenzo – 5.

Absent: Mr. Estrada, Mr. Geiger, Ms. Perkins, Ms. Tobiassen – 4.

Mr. Crescenzo called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. He said that this special meeting is called for the discussion of matters regarding the employment history and appointment of a particular person.

Mrs. Knapp made a motion, seconded by Dr. Best, to have an executive session to discuss specific personnel issues.

Ayes: Best, Knapp, Perrino, Botti, Crescenzo – 5. Noes: None. Motion was unanimously approved.

Public session resumed at 8:40 p.m.

Mr. Perrino made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Botti, to approve the following resolution:

Resolved, that the following appointment be approved upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools:

At 8:47 p.m., Dr. Best made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Knapp, to adjourn the meeting. Motion was unanimously approved.
