BOARD OF EDUCATION

MIDDLETOWN, NEW YORK

JULY 28, 2004

A special meeting of the Board of Education of the Enlarged City School District of Middletown, New York was held Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at the Board of Education Office, 223 Wisner Avenue, Board President Vincent Crescenzo, presiding. 

Present: Mr. Estrada, Mr. Geiger, Mrs. Knapp, Mr. Perrino, Ms. Tobiassen, Mrs. Botti, Mr. Crescenzo – 7. 

Absent: Dr. Best - 1.

Others      John Donoghue, Counsel
Present:   Richard Zuckerman, Counsel
                  Sharon Berlin, Counsel
                  Kenneth W. Eastwood, Superintendent

Mr. Crescenzo opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. He said that this special meeting was called for the discussion of the employment history of a particular person.

Mrs. Knapp made a motion, seconded by Mr. Perrino, to have an executive session to discuss the employment history of a particular person or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person. 

Ayes: Estrada, Geiger, Knapp, Perrino, Tobiassen, Botti, Crescenzo – 7. Motion was unanimously approved.

Public session resumed at 8:19 p.m. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at this time.
